# Recommend Offline Regions

This guide covers how to find regions near the user or along a route so the iOS app can suggest the right offline data before travel begins.

Query by current location or complete route

The result uses the same _OfflineRegionCatalog_ model as _listOfflineRegions_, so the region-list UI can be reused. Coordinates must use [WGS84](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Geodetic_System) standard. An along-route query requires at least two valid, distinct coordinates. The query may retrieve missing region details, so provide a loading state and cancellation handling.
